The artistic and cultural heritage of the University of Padua

Stemmi Palazzo Bo

Numerous buildings stand as monuments like witnesses to the history of the University of Padua. Such structures include Palazzo Bo, Palazzo Cavalli, and Padua’s Botanical Garden, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But Padua also looks towards the future by focusing on twentieth-century university buildings and new construction sites designed by some of the best contemporary architects, including new large projects, the completed Biodiversity Garden, and the recently renovated Beato Pellegrino Complex.

Visiting the University

A remarkable part of the University’s artistic and cultural heritage can be visited by the public. Palaces, museums and gardens are opened to tell the story of the university together with the city.
